Thai bank company Acquires 9.99% Shares of Bank Maspion

Today, PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS), a banking company under Maspion Group sold 443,901,808 or 9.99% of its shares to Kasikornbank, a Thailand Banking Company with total assets of 2.44 trillion Baht (Rp 981 trillion). Unfortunately the value of the transaction is not disclosed.
Bank Maspion has just achieved BUKU2 status with key services focus on SME business and digital banking. Maspion Bank currently has 51 office networks strategically located in all major cities like Surabaya, Jakarta, Semarang, Denpasar, Medan, Bandung, Makassar, Solo, Malang, Purwokerto and Palembang. 

As you know, Maspion Group which controlled by Tycoon Alim Markus is now runs a wide coverage of businesses, e.g., finance and banking, retail/wholesale, logistics and property development, and durable consumer goods, such as electrical and household appliances.

Previously, Maspion Group also plans to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) it's subsidiary PT Maspion which coverage in durable consumer with a total value of up to US $ 200 million. The Group also plans to issued a global bond in first half 2018.
